It helps being 5-7 minutes from it. The ride to the Gaylord took an hour each way. Longer at night since I would get lost.

we usually stay at the hotel so that doesn't matter much, it's just the gaylord was a nicer hotel ..

Yeah well when the rooms are $154 a night I'd rather be sleeping at the Gaylord in rooms that have air conditioning that works right ...

and there are more restaurants with free parking closer to the gaylord than there are with the anatole. all you've got is denny's at the anatole and they get crowded and have terrible service

I can say that I have been to both hotels, the Gaylord and the Anatole, and I find the Anatole better in my opinion. Just seems like a nicer area to me, and I've been to the hotel for 2 events (QC '08 & MLG Dallas).

you think the run down slums around the anatole is nicer than grapevine? you prefer paying for parking garages or meters to the free lots around the many cheap restaurants around grapevine mills? silly silly lol

We parked that that Hotel across the road for free when we went. And for food, we went with Whataburger ever day, which is AWESOME.
